Jewelry, More Than a Pretty Accessory
Welcome, whether you are new here or have been around for years, I wanted to take a moment to share with you my heart and the mission behind our work at Seed and Soil.
Seed & Soil was born out of my love of nature and creating, as well as the belief that jewelry can be more than just a pretty accessory. I believe that the jewelry we wear can actually help us grow. Sound audacious, or maybe just odd? Please read on and hear me out -
The Power of Symbols
The power of symbolism lies in its ability to express abstract qualities and emotions, such as love, sincerity, grief, courage, hope, faith, and safety.
These abstract qualities are as real as physical objects and yet do not always manifest themselves physically. They are often experienced through emotion, felt and known but not always easy to communicate with words.
In an effort to create a physical manifestation of these abstract qualities, I have researched the traditional symbolism associated with the various botanicals used in our jewelry designs. In this way, Seed and Soil jewelry is a wearable and tangible reminder of the truths we hold dear.

It is my hope that our mustard seed necklace reminds you that even your tiny steps of faith can move mountains; that our fern earrings remind you to show up authentically as your true self; our daisy studs encourage you to once again have the vulnerability to hope and our forget-me-not locket helps you walk through your unspeakable loss, once step at a time.
